These flowmeters are electromechanical, volumetric flow meter. The rotating ngle increases inproportion to the flow rate. The rotate rate is detected by the pick-up coil and converted into electricalsignal, activating local indicating totalizer.

ª Turbine meters have found widespread use for
accurate liquid and gas measurement applications.
The unit consists of a multiple-bladed rotor mounted
with a pipe, perpendicular to the liquid flow. The
rotor spins as the liquid passes through the blades.
The rotational speed is a direct function of flow rate.
Electrical pulse can be counted and totalized.

This flowmeter wetted part material is PVC or
PTFE use for sea water.
